Plans coming together . . .

  • This month Monmouthshire County Council has received, from Pentan Architects, the first draft of the layout plans and artist impressions of the proposed community hub.  The drawings were shared with the MUCH group and we were pleased to see that many of the ideas and suggestions, picked up in last month’s Llanfoist Village hall visit, have been incorporated.  The plans are now sufficiently developed to present to the community for feedback.  We hope to do this in three sessions, at various locations in the villages, in early February. We also intend to ‘recruit’ people who would be interested in supporting the running of the new centre.  The dates, times and venues will be confirmed and publicised early in the New Year.

So, as the year draws to an end, it is gratifying that real progress with the hub is now being made.  There is also real progress and good news with associated with MAGOR’s campaign to open a ‘Walkway Station’ for Magor and Undy.  You can read the latest by going to the Magor Station website.

Thank you to all our followers and can I wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas

Paul
