No holding back . . .

Despite the cold weather towards the end of 2022, which could have delayed the build, construction is still on track.  One of our local residents, Samantha, has been taking photographs of the construction on a frequent basis.  She has given permission for us to use the photos to show and record the stages.  Here we see the building which now has cross-members and the slab floors in place, and shows how well things are progressing.

Talking of photographs and walls, some of the larger unglazed internal walls will require decorating with vinyl murals.  The MUCH trustees are asking if you have (or will have) a good quality photograph of a local landmark or scene, taken by yourself, that you would like to be considered for use?  If or when you have a picture you are particularly proud of and would be willing for it to be displayed as a vinyl mural, with your name, please send it to the email address below, by the end of February. The MUCH committee will then decide on the best submission.

The Wassailing Evening went off almost without a hitch!  The Morris dancers danced and the wassailers wassailed but the generator failed to generate (light for the cider stall) but Kier came to the rescue with a huge generator and lighting machine. So the apple trees were toasted, much to the enjoyment and delight of the onlookers. We hope this will become an annual event!

Last month I asked if anyone was thinking of running a group or class in the Hub to let us know.  We have had some enquiries and logged their names but there is still time to register an interest, so get in touch using the following Email –  magorandundyhub@gmail.com.

More news when we March on!
