A quick progress update . . .

Well, the holiday  season is still in full swing so only a couple of things to report –

  • Firstly, progress is being made with selecting an architect to develop the ideas for the community hub and three fields site into something that we can all visualise and present to the residents.  The MUCH/MCC partnership received something like 13 submissions in response to the advert that Ben Thorpe (MCC) put out.  A provisional shortlist has been produced which will developed into a final shortlist as soon as Ben returns from his well-deserved holiday. Hopefully an architect will be appointed in September.

  • I am sorry to report that John O’Shaughnessy has found that he has needed to resign his position as a director of the Three Fields Community Trust and as a member of the MUCH group, due to personal reasons.  The group wish to thank John for his valuable insights and contributions to the project and wish him well for the future.

More news next month.
