I am pleased to say that we are now recruiting staff to run the centre. To start with, we are looking for someone to manage the Hub. ….and, as previously posted, I’m pleased to report that the build is still on course for completion in July. Whilst there are still some external works to complete, most of the work now going on is on the internal fit-out. 
Items such as internal lights, acoustic panels, kitchen units, wall radiators and sanitary ware are all now being installed. Meanwhile The MUCH group of volunteers are working on a 30-point plan to make sure everything else is in place to ensure it can open in September. Things such as furniture, office equipment, audio visual kit, not to mention the ‘hire costing structure’ and ‘bookings and payments’ systems, are all coming together.
We have had over 25 enquiries from local people wanting to run a class, group, service or hold an event. These people will be invited to take a tour of the building to help them gauge their requirements to the facilities available. There is still time to make such an enquiry if you have something in mind, just drop us an email.
